The Hero's Mile story
Hero's Mile was originally founded as a specialized treatment program created by veterans, for veterans. For years, the campus served exclusively those who had served, addressing the unique realities of trauma, PTSD, substance use, and mental health challenges within the veteran community.
That legacy remains at the heart of who we are today.
As Hero's Mile has grown, we have expanded our services to support all adults seeking recovery from substance abuse, drug abuse, and mental health challenges — while maintaining specialized programming and strong community relationships for veterans and first responders. Our history continues to shape our mission, our compassion, and our commitment to those who have given so much in service to others.
